Problem

Electronic music professionals rely on fragmented tools, inboxes, downloads, and informal networks to send, receive, organize, and discover music. The experience lacked structure and made it difficult for artists, DJs, labels, and industry professionals to manage relationships around music efficiently.

My Decision

I approached Trackstack as a professional workflow product rather than another music discovery platform. The experience was organized around sending, receiving, managing, and acting on music, with the network becoming more valuable through actual professional activity.

What I Built

I helped shape the product from the ground up, including product strategy, UX architecture, core workflows, interface design, prototypes, and the public-facing website. The system covered music inboxes, profiles, sending and receiving tracks, discovery, networking, and professional workflows.

What Changed

The initial idea became a more structured and testable product system with clearer user journeys, stronger positioning, and a cohesive experience that could move from concept into development.
